Clary Sage: Clary sage oil is extracted from Salvia sclarea, a different plant than Salvia officinalis. Native to southern France, Italy, and Syria, it is now cultivated throughout the world - especially in European regions, including Central Europe, as well as England, Morocco, Russia, and the United States.
It gets its name from the Latin word "clarus", which means "clear". It was called "clear eyes" during the Middle Ages, when it was often used to help improve vision and address related conditions, such as tired or strained eyes.
Uses in diffusers : antiseptic
Fragrance effects : to detach from the earth and from problems, for inspiration, facilitates dreams. Removes even deep tensions. Stimulates to open up to the new. It is also used to help calm the nervous system, especially during periods of stress, depression and insomnia.
Uses in cosmetics*: Acne and impure skin. For red skin and for those who sweat a lot. It helps to have shiny and silky hair: add a few drops to a neutral shampoo. Hair loss and dandruff.
Curiosity : 2 drops on the pillow to develop dreams.
Warnings and contraindications : do not use during pregnancy, breastfeeding. Do not take with alcohol, it can have a narcotic effect.
